Cheryl Cole's spokesman has confirmed that the singer is separating from her husband Ashley. Ashley has been accused of cheating on Cheryl with up to five women since their marriage in 2006. A spokesman for the star said: "Cheryl Cole is separating from her husband Ashley Cole. "Cheryl asks the media to respect her privacy during this difficult time. We have no further comment to make." It was claimed earlier this week that Cheryl broke up with Ashley via a text message.
JLS are set to head to the US to record tracks for their forthcoming second album. The boy band have already begun work on the follow-up to their 2009 self-titled debut, but head to America later this year to record new tracks. Speaking to Newsbeat, Marvin Humes said: "It's likely we're going to be recording some tracks for our album over there - that's where the producers are based." The foursome will release their single Everybody In Love stateside too, with Humes adding: "Taio Cruz has had a lot of success, Jay Sean has had a lot of success - it seems like a good time for Brits at the moment."
Phil Vickery has defended wife Fern Britton's recent weight loss, claiming that much of it was down to a healthy diet. Britton caused controversy last year after if emerged that she had a gastric band fitted, but Digitalspy reports that her TV chef husband has revealed that a gluten-free diet was in part responsible. "Fern has cut right back on carbohydrates and eats a really healthy diet now with loads of vegetables and fruit," he told The Mirror. Advertisement"She likes my cooking. Family meals are old-fashioned favourites, like cottage pie or chicken with lots of veg and salad."

Welch had also been nominated for the British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act awards. In early 2008 Welch was interviewed by London events website, Run-Riot.com. Welch received significant support from NME magazine who included her in their annual NME Awards Tour for 2009, in which she supported White Lies, Friendly Fires and Glasvegas on the tour. Florence and the Machine collected the Critics' Choice Award at the 2009 BRIT Awards after coming third in the BBC's Sound of 2009.
